its really important for men to stand up to other men who say terrible and sexist shit

because sexist men dont listen to what women have to say

literally the most important thing men can do if they want to call themselves feminist allies

Katy Perry really just sat there and called trans girls on tumblr rats. Like she really just owned up to stealing our shit and then sit there like she isn’t the one lacking taste. Least I’m not bottom feeding even if I’m not getting paid bitch! Who’s the real rat now!

Yo, ok, I’m not a fan of what she does in general, but this is not meant as an insult and you’re really getting it wrong.
To me it looks like she took the word rat in the playful meaning of a person who is really into something (but maybe I’m just biased because the German equivalent of a bookworm basically means readingrat).
Yeah, she mistook trans girls for transvestites, but otherwise she’s basically saying “These girls were really cool and my video is influenced by fashion blogs. But if those people who are really into tumblr would hear I was highly influenced by it, they’d hate it.” Because you know, it’s true. We all have this “what happens on tumblr stays on tumblr” attitude.
I repeat; she called the trans girls she followed COOL, she used a playful word (which sounds actually cute to me tbh) to describe people who are on tumblr, icluding ALL the blogs on here. She also understands that we don’t like talking about tumblr off of tumblr, but she doesn’t seem to care.

Loosing a follower after posting a selfie feels great. :I

You can’t even see I dyed my sideburns yesterday. But I didn’t post a usual selfie in a long time and since I dyed my lashes and brows yesterday after neglecting them for some time this was an opportunity.

This is a grave from the Victorian age when a fear of zombies and vampires was prevalent. The cage was intended to trap the undead just in case the corpse reanimated.

Destroy this false information. The cage was intended to prevent the body from being stolen. There were a lot of people who used to dig up bodies to sell them, for example, to scientiest who studied the human body. Or those scientists even did it themselves. There weren’t enough people who said “Yes, I’d like to be cut open and examined when I’m dead”, so people just stole random bodies. Nobody could ask them if they were dug up or a volunteer after all.
